Betfair/Arsenal Challenge

As Arsenal prepare for a UEFA Europa League Final against Chelsea in Baku next Wednesday, Shoot the Company have been filming some of their stars for Betfair as they hone their mental and physical skills. Alexandre Lacazette, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos were all on hand to test their vision and co-ordination in a series of challenges that put the viewers’ prediction skills to the test. Anyone willing to predict the score in only the second ever all-English UEFA Cup/Europa League Final? Apologies Blues fans but we’re going for a 2-1 Arsenal win with Hazard, Lacazette and Aubameyang on the scoresheet.

Around the world in thirty days.

Now we all like to travel at Shoot the Company as much as the next person but things have been getting a little out of hand recently as we circumnavigate the globe telling our clients’ stories. April has been a record breaking month in terms of passport stamps with shoots in Hong Kong, Kenya, India, Chile, New York, Panama, Ghana, Mongolia, New Caledonia, Azerbaijan, Northern Ireland and Scotland all in the last four weeks! Post production are now very excited about getting to grips with some beautiful images. It almost makes them feel as if they were there rather than stuck in a basement in EC2A!

International Women’s Day

Happy International Women’s Day everyone! To help Barclays celebrate and promote IWD, Shoot the Company have been producing a series of content to showcase their commitment to the HeForShe Campaign. Initiated by the UN, HeForShe is a global solidarity movement for people of all genders to promote a gender equal world. Now celebrating five years of involvement, Barclays are encouraging male colleagues to stand shoulder to shoulder with their female counterparts to promote equality. We couldn’t agree more!

UEFA #EqualGame – Turkey

Turkey international Baris Telli is one of the most remarkable and talented athletes we’ve ever had the pleasure of filming. As a boy, Baris lost his right leg in a road traffic accident but has never let that prevent him pursuing his dream of playing international football. Now one of the most decorated players in the World amputee game, Baris wants to challenge Ronaldo to see who can do the highest overhead kick. Consider the gauntlet thrown Cristiano!

McDonald’s Big Mac Bacon

What happens when you take the King of the Jungle, his long-suffering son, a Big Mac and two slices of bacon? Mayhem and disagreement to be perfectly frank. Shoot the Company have had a riot in the last few weeks helping the nation decide whether the new Big Mac Bacon is a violation or a victory. We’ve been shooting with celebrities and influencers across the UK and it seems that, if you hadn’t already noticed, the nation is divided! To B(acon), or not to B(acon), that is the question.

Hello 2019!

Too late to wish everyone a Happy New Year? Probably, in which case apologies for our tardiness. We’re blaming a busy January schedule for the delay as we’ve been planning shoots in Hong Kong and the US for Barclays whilst also filming across the UK for a new McDonald’s campaign which launches this week. We’ll keep you posted on that one. Pictured above is our crew in Ankara shooting in early January for UEFA with the amazing Turkey international amputee footballer Baris Telli…who (it goes without saying!) can easily do more keepy-ups than all of us at Shoot the Company put together.
