It’s always nice to share the limelight with an icon of the silver screen and Shoot the Company were in esteemed company last week as we joined forces with Sophia Loren, to announce the launch of the fourth largest cruise ship in the world, the MSC Meraviglia. Meraviglia is Italian for ‘wonder’ and at 171,598 gross tonnes and capable of carrying a maximum 5,714 passengers in 2,244 cabins, the ship certainly lives up to it’s name. For all Sophia Loren aficionados out there, you’ll be pleased to know you will be able to recreate scenes from ‘It started in Naples’ with the southern Italian port being one of the destinations on the ship’s Mediterranean route.
